CD bookbinding experiments

Above are three different ways of making a booklet inlay. All of these books have each got 4 12x24 different paper types including pink sugar paper, graph paper, tracing paper, parcel paper and plain paper.

The top image is used the normal way of using staples. This  is the normal method that most artist would use to have the lyrics and what the album is about printed in.I found this method quite easy to make and is easy to open.

The second booklet is held together by stitching it. This method was quite easy once you got going but at the beginning it was difficult as you had to make sure that the pages were all level and straight. This would be a good book for a artist that were into making homemade things.

Finally the last book inlay was used with 4 pieces of paper then hole-punched and attached with elastic bands. i feel this idea was quite inventive and different to anyother inlay that i have seen before. It is easy to assemble as there is an elastic band that secures the content in place.
